The newly added tokens include rIBM (IBM), rGS (Goldman Sachs), rC (Citigroup), rAXP (American Express), and rJNJ (Johnson & Johnson), among others.
Bitget, a global cryptocurrency exchange, is expanding its range of real-world asset (RWA) offerings with this move. These "r"-prefixed tokens allow users to trade traditional equities directly with crypto assets on the platform, bypassing traditional brokerage accounts and settling transactions instantly on-chain.
The listing covers a diverse set of major companies and ETFs, providing investors with a broader array of asset allocation options and reflecting the ongoing convergence of cryptocurrency markets with traditional stock markets.
