Bitget has launched CFD Copy Trading, allowing users to automatically replicate trades in forex, commodities, and indices from top traders with as little as 50 USDT. The platform's CFD daily volume has surpassed $6 billion, and the new feature uses a high-water mark profit-sharing model to align incentives.

Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), today announced the launch of CFD Copy Trading, a feature that enables users to automatically follow professional traders in forex, commodities, and index markets directly from the Bitget platform. The move marks a significant step in bridging the gap between cryptocurrency trading and traditional financial markets.

Strong Foundation with $6 Billion Daily Volume

The launch comes on the heels of impressive growth in Bitget's CFD business, which recently exceeded $6 billion in daily trading volume. Driven by heightened global market volatility, crypto-native traders are increasingly seeking exposure to a broader range of assets. Recent price movements in gold, oil, major currency pairs, and equity indices have drawn these traders into traditional markets.

Yet access has remained unequal. While experienced traders can quickly respond to macroeconomic signals, retail users often lack the time or expertise to actively monitor multiple asset classes. CFD Copy Trading is designed to lower that barrier. Users can start copying the strategies of top-performing traders from just 50 USDT, utilizing the same copy-trading framework already familiar to users of Bitget's futures and spot products.

CEO: “Opportunities Are No Longer Limited to Crypto”

“More and more users are paying attention to macroeconomic movements because opportunities are no longer limited to crypto alone,” said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. “What matters now is making that access practical. Copy trading lowers the barrier for users who want global market exposure without having to build that expertise from scratch.”

Technical Infrastructure and High-Water Mark Model

The product is built on Bitget's MT5-integrated CFD infrastructure. MT5 account creation and withdrawal processing are completed in less than three seconds through a fully automated backend, streamlining onboarding and settlement. Bitget applies a High-Water Mark (HWM) profit-sharing model: expert traders earn a profit share only when a follower's account reaches a new net profit high after all previous losses have been fully recovered. This ensures traders are rewarded only when followers become net profitable, directly aligning incentives on both sides of the strategy.

Performance data—including ROI, number of followers, and profit-sharing figures—are refreshed every hour, replacing the delayed reporting model still common in the market. Profit-sharing settlements are processed daily, with eligible traders receiving up to 30% in profit share. VIP structures also grant limited portfolio access for invited followers.

Expanding the Universal Exchange Strategy

The launch extends Bitget's broader Universal Exchange strategy, which aims to provide users access to multiple asset classes under a single account structure. Using USDT-based margin, users can switch between crypto, commodities, forex, and indices without moving funds between external brokers or converting capital across separate platforms. For crypto users, CFD Copy Trading creates a simpler entry point to traditional financial markets. For experienced MT5 and forex traders, it establishes a new gateway into Bitget's wider ecosystem, where traditional and digital asset markets increasingly overlap within one trading environment.
