Bitget, the world's largest universal exchange (UEX), has entered the real-world asset (RWA) space with a licensed financial protocol called Reality. The protocol issues tokenized stocks (rTokens) that are strictly pegged 1:1 to underlying US equities. These assets are custodied with a broker registered with FINRA and protected by SIPC, with third-party audits providing real-time reserve proof. Reality directly connects to liquidity pools from Nasdaq and NYSE, offering users the same level of liquidity as traditional brokerages.

For dividends, stock dividends are distributed as tokens at a 1:1 ratio, while cash dividends are automatically converted to USDT and credited to user accounts. Stock splits and mergers are also mirrored on-chain in real time, mirroring the experience of holding US stocks directly.

Beyond basic trading, Reality's US stock tokens are deeply integrated into the Bitget ecosystem. Users can use them as collateral for unified account margin, and they are compatible with grid trading, copy trading, and staking lending products.

CEO Gracy Chen's '10% Vision'

Bitget CEO Gracy Chen previously outlined a "10% vision": tokenized stocks currently represent only 0.1% of the $125 trillion global stock market. She predicted that by 2030 this share could rise to nearly 10%. Reality is built around this trend, initially focusing on US stocks and later expanding to more asset classes, pushing Bitget's UEX strategy into broader global financial asset access.

About Bitget: Founded in 2018, Bitget serves over 120 million users in more than 200 countries. Bitget Wallet, a non-custodial wallet, supports over 130 blockchain networks and millions of tokens, aggregating more than 20,000 dApps. Bitget is also the official crypto partner of LALIGA and collaborates with UNICEF to promote blockchain education.
