Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), has launched Bitget Stocks 2.0, a major upgrade to its tokenized stock offering. The new version taps directly into real market liquidity from Nasdaq and the New York Stock Exchange, features 1:1 asset mapping, and embeds tokenized equities deeply into Bitget's trading ecosystem.
Liquidity Revamp: Direct Pipeline to U.S. Exchanges
The core improvement of Stocks 2.0 is its direct connection to underlying U.S. equity liquidity. By linking to channels from Nasdaq and NYSE, tokenized stock trades benefit from deeper order books, lower friction, and faster execution—all within the Bitget App. This eliminates slippage that previously plagued tokenized equities due to fragmented liquidity.
For asset mapping, eligible stock tokens adopt a 1:1 mechanism. Users trade directly with USDT, enjoying zero slippage. Cash dividends are automatically converted to USDT and deposited into accounts with clear records; corporate actions such as stock dividends, splits, and reverse splits are mirrored to token holdings, ensuring economic rights match the underlying shares.
Ecosystem Integration: Unified Account and Strategy Tools
Stocks 2.0 brings tokenized stocks into Bitget's financial infrastructure. Eligible tokens can be added to the Unified Account and margin system, and they support spot grids, futures grids, copy trading, and select yield products. This allows users to hold global equity exposure while managing capital and executing strategies within Bitget.
Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget, said: “Tokenized stocks represent a revolution that crypto technology brings to global financial markets. By 2030, over 10% of global financial assets could be tokenized, and the key driver will be trading platforms that combine liquidity, depth, and compliance. Bitget is building the infrastructure for this future.”
On fees, Bitget offers competitive rates. The base trading fee is just 0.1%, with maker/taker fees aligned to VIP tiers. Paying with the platform's native token BGB unlocks a flat 0.05% rate.
Market Data: $1B+ Cumulative Volume, Dominant Share
Stocks 2.0 builds on Bitget's early lead in tokenized equities. As of January 2024, cumulative spot trading volume for Bitget tokenized stocks surpassed $1 billion. In December 2023, Bitget accounted for roughly 89% of all Ondo-issued tokenized stock volume. Additionally, Bitget stock futures cumulative volume exceeded $10 billion.
The first batch of Stocks 2.0 lists 36 stocks and ETFs, including Apple, Amazon, Meta, Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, Microsoft, and QQQ. The product is issued by licensed RWA platform Reality, with Bitget providing the trading gateway, asset security, and liquidity services.
Founded in 2018, Bitget now serves over 120 million users across 200+ countries. Its non-custodial wallet, Bitget Wallet, supports more than 130 blockchains and millions of tokens.
