Bitget said its share of tokenized stock trading on Ondo reached around 89% by the end of December 2025, up from roughly 73% in the first week of the month. The exchange also said it has extended zero-fee trading for tokenized stocks through April 30, 2026.
Market share climbed sharply within one month
According to the exchange, the jump points to a rapid concentration of liquidity and user activity on larger venues in the tokenized equities segment. Tokenized stocks give users blockchain-based price exposure to publicly listed companies, allow trading outside standard market hours, and settle through stablecoins. Bitget said this model is drawing interest from both crypto-native traders and traditional investors seeking continuous access to listed equities without relying on conventional brokerage rails.
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said tokenized stocks are quickly becoming a core trading vertical for the platform. She said the company’s share of market activity shows users want continuous and cost-efficient access to global equities through on-chain infrastructure. Chen also said Bitget is trying to lower entry barriers by extending zero-fee trading and expanding its lineup of stock tokens.
Campaign removes trading fees and gas fees
The extension adds more than three months to the campaign and runs into the period around corporate earnings season. Bitget said the program removes both transaction fees and gas fees across all trade types, including buy and sell orders as well as limit and market orders. The exchange said the goal is to give users more predictable and transparent trading costs as they engage with tokenized equities.
The report noted that competition is rising among exchanges trying to become the main access point for tokenized real-world assets. In a market where user habits and liquidity pools are still forming, fee-free access remains a strong lever for attracting both active traders and first-time users of tokenized equity products.
98 more U.S. stocks and ETFs added, total now above 200
Bitget has also expanded the product range. On January 9, the exchange listed 98 additional U.S. stocks and ETFs, bringing its total tokenized stock offerings to more than 200. The lineup includes names such as Apple, Tesla, Nvidia, and Alphabet, all tradable with USDT settlement. Bitget said the structure allows users to access equity-style exposure without opening a traditional brokerage account while keeping the speed and accessibility associated with crypto markets.
The exchange added that more than 1 million users have interacted with the tokenized stock product since its launch in September. Bitget said the business fits into its broader Universal Exchange, or UEX, strategy, which is designed to combine cryptocurrencies, tokenized equities, and other real-world assets within a single trading environment.
