Bitget said its previously disclosed attack incident affected multiple blockchains rather than a single asset or one network, according to a post cited by Odaily and attributed to Xie Jiayin. The exchange said it suspended withdrawals before completing checks and verification across all relevant processes in order to reduce user risk. Withdrawals will not return all at once. Instead, each chain must complete its own remediation work and pass security verification first, after which Bitget plans to restore withdrawals in stages by chain and by asset. Xie also said the withdrawal suspension was unrelated to whether Bitget had sufficient funds. He stated that Bitget’s protection fund stands at $464 million and can fully cover losses tied to the attack. In the same statement, he added that the platform’s proof of reserves ratio is 127% and has already been made public.
