Bitmain has introduced two new water-cooled mining platform packages, AR1901 and AR1902, expanding its lineup of integrated hardware solutions for crypto mining. The new offerings are designed to address deployment efficiency and specific operational scenarios, with both packages centered on hydro-cooling-based mining equipment.
Package configurations announced
The AR1901 package includes one ANTRACK V2-EC2-DT unit paired with four ANTMINER S19 XP+ Hyd. miners. According to the released details, this package is aimed at distributed computing scenarios and emphasizes plug-and-play deployment, making it suitable for operators seeking faster installation and simplified setup.
The AR1902 package features an ANTRACK V2-EC4-DTHP unit, also combined with four ANTMINER S19 XP+ Hyd. miners. Unlike AR1901, AR1902 is positioned as an integrated solution for both computing power and heating, allowing mining operations to continue while also delivering usable heat output.
Different use cases for miners
From a product positioning standpoint, AR1901 appears to focus more on modular and distributed deployment, while AR1902 is geared toward environments where mining infrastructure can also serve heating needs. Bitmain said the integrated approach is intended to support more stable mining returns while expanding the practical value of the system through heat utilization.
