BitMart, a global digital asset exchange serving millions of users, today launched the Trade-to-Feed competition to mark its eighth anniversary. The campaign debuts $EAT, the first cause coin ever listed on a major centralized exchange, with a total prize pool of up to $4.4 million USDT — the largest in BitMart's history.

Cause Coins: Trading That Feeds

$EAT is a new asset class engineered so that trading fees flow to charitable grant-making infrastructure alongside trader rewards. Brian Lee of WYDE Association said: 'BitMart didn't just list $EAT. They named a category. A global exchange recognizing cause coins as a strategic priority is a structural moment.'

Three-Track Competition

The campaign runs three concurrent reward tracks from a single volume-funded pool:
- Leaderboard pool: Up to 73 traders share by rank, with the top prize taking 50% of the total pool.
- Instant wins: Each ticket worth a flat $10 USDT, allocated proportionally to traders who complete $40+ in $EAT spot volume.
- Lucky draws: Weekly and at close, cumulative pool of $435K at the $200M volume cap. Traders with $2,000+ in $EAT volume qualify.
New registrants who trade at least $5 USDT in $EAT spot can also win from 803 prizes across three tiers.

Charity Flow: Half Directed by Token Holders

Charitable distributions go through WYDE Association's two-pool model. 50% flows to Children's Hunger Fund, a global initiative fighting childhood hunger since 1979. The remaining 50% is allocated by $EAT token holders via community voting on the Hunger Network, recorded on-chain. 'Every dollar of organic volume in the competition also funds meals. That is the proof point,' added Brian Lee.

Exchange & Token Background

Founded in 2018, BitMart ranks among top exchanges on CoinGecko with 1,700+ trading pairs. $EAT launched on Base on December 10, 2025, and has already funded over 25,000 meals. WYDE is a Wyoming 501(c)(4) nonprofit operating the first Impact Exchange.

CEO Nickolas Ho stated: 'Listing $EAT and committing the largest competition in our history to it is how we mark this anniversary — by helping define what comes next, not just trading what already exists.'
