BitMEX, the cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, has announced the launch of the "Crypto Olympus" trading competition, offering a total prize pool of 500,000 USDT. The event runs from March 12, 2026 at 12:00 UTC to April 12, 2026 at 23:59 UTC, with registration open throughout the period.

Four Prize Categories

The prize pool is divided into four segments: Top Trading Volume claims 75% of the pool, distributed among the top 100 traders by volume; Top PnL (Profit and Loss) takes 10%, awarded to the top 100 by PnL; Top ROI (Return on Investment) also takes 10%, shared by the top 100 by ROI; and Lady Luck accounts for the remaining 5%, given to 50 randomly selected eligible participants via a lucky draw.

Entry Requirements and Platform Security

All participants must complete full identity verification (KYC) on BitMEX. The exchange emphasizes its security track record — zero cryptocurrency losses due to intrusions or hacks since inception — and publishes on-chain proof-of-reserves and proof-of-liabilities twice weekly.
