BitMEX has introduced a new Hyperliquid copy trading feature, giving users a way to follow top perpetual futures traders from Hyperliquid directly through the BitMEX platform. The feature has been added to BitMEX’s existing copy trading marketplace, where users can now access a dedicated Hyperliquid tab and browse trader rankings.
Users can mirror or counter-trade ranked Hyperliquid traders
According to BitMEX, users can choose either to copy a trader’s positions in the same direction or take the opposite side through a reverse-copy option. Once selected, the system automatically opens positions on BitMEX to replicate the chosen Hyperliquid trader’s strategy and exposure. BitMEX says the setup allows users to tap into trading ideas from Hyperliquid while staying within BitMEX’s own interface and security environment.
Traders listed in the Hyperliquid section are ranked by metrics including returns, drawdown, win rate, and assets under management. BitMEX says this is meant to help users identify stronger performers more quickly. The company presents the product as a simplified route for traders who want access to expert strategies without managing every trade manually.
Up to five traders can be followed at once
Through the copy trading marketplace, users can follow as many as five Hyperliquid traders at the same time. Risk settings can be adjusted for each one separately, including take-profit and stop-loss parameters. BitMEX frames this as a way to automate parts of crypto derivatives trading while keeping position management customizable.
The source material describes Hyperliquid as the current leader in decentralized perpetuals trading, accounting for more than 60% of total open interest across the sector. BitMEX CEO Stephan Lutz said the launch brings alpha from a leading PerpDEX into the workflows BitMEX users already use.
Launch campaign includes a 100,000 USDT reward pool
To mark the rollout, BitMEX is offering a 100,000 USDT prize pool for eligible copy trading users on the platform. The exchange also said that educational materials and product guides are available through its website and blog.
