Bitmine Immersion Technologies (OTCQX: BMNRD) has officially launched its Bitcoin Treasury Advisory Practice, simultaneously closing a $4 million strategic transaction with a U.S. exchange-listed company. This marks the inaugural client for Bitmine's advisory business. CEO Jonathan Bates noted that nearly 100 public companies currently hold bitcoin as a treasury asset, and the demand for infrastructure and expert guidance in bitcoin treasury strategies is growing rapidly.

Details of the $4 Million Deal

The transaction comprises two agreements. The first is a “Mining as a Service” (MaaS) contract where Bitmine will lease 3,000 bitcoin ASIC miners to its strategic partner for a total of $3.2 million, with the lease running through December 30, 2025. An upfront payment of $1.6 million has been secured. The second part is a one-year consulting agreement worth $800,000, focusing on bitcoin mining and treasury strategy. Combined, the total transaction value reaches $4 million.

Advisory Practice Positioning

Bitmine's Bitcoin Treasury Advisory Practice is designed to assist public companies in developing bitcoin-based revenue strategies and custody solutions. By integrating miner leasing with strategic consulting, the company lowers the barrier for enterprises to participate in bitcoin mining without the complexities of hardware procurement, power negotiation, and maintenance. Bates emphasized that corporate interest has shifted from merely holding bitcoin to actively seeking mining yield strategies.

Under the MaaS arrangement, Bitmine will deploy and manage the miners on-site at the partner's facilities, ensuring smooth operations. The service allows the partner to gain hashrate exposure with a relatively low upfront capital commitment.

Market Implications

The launch of this advisory practice signals a maturing ecosystem where corporate bitcoin treasury services expand beyond simple custody and purchase. Bitmine's model addresses the gap between “mining-as-a-service” and strategic treasury advice. As more public companies adopt bitcoin as a balance sheet asset, integrated service providers like Bitmine stand to benefit. “We believe bitcoin treasury strategies will become a key tool for public companies to enhance shareholder value and hedge against inflation,” Bates concluded.
