Bitmine Immersion Technologies said that as of 3:00 p.m. ET on June 28, 2026, it held 5,700,040 ETH. Using a price of $1,569 per ETH, the company said its combined crypto holdings, cash, marketable securities and “moonshots” investments totaled $9.8 billion. Bitmine said its ETH position now represents 4.7% of the 120.7 million ETH supply.
Company says it is nearing its 5% ETH target
In the announcement, Bitmine said it is 94% of the way toward its “Alchemy of 5%” goal. The company also said it acquired 27,084 ETH over the past week. Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee said Bitmine expects to reach that target at some point in 2026. The company continues to frame ETH as its primary treasury reserve asset and ties that strategy to protocol-native activities such as staking.
Nearly 4.88 million ETH already staked
Bitmine reported that 4,879,157 ETH had been staked as of June 28, worth about $7.7 billion at the stated ETH price. The company said part of that activity is running through MAVAN, its institutional-grade staking platform launched in 2026. Based on figures in the release, Bitmine currently projects annualized staking revenue of about $211 million. If all of its ETH is staked through MAVAN and partners, projected annualized staking rewards would reach $246 million, using a 2.75% 7-day BMNR yield.
BTC, cash and equity stakes round out the balance
Outside of ETH, Bitmine said it held 206 BTC, $555 million in cash and marketable securities, a $180 million stake in Beast Industries and a $74 million stake in Eightco Holdings. The company described Eightco as one of the few publicly listed equities offering investors indirect exposure to OpenAI.
Russell 1000 addition and preferred stock listing
Bitmine said it was added to the Russell 1000 Large-cap Index on June 26, 2026. Citing the Investment Company Institute, the release said passive funds and ETFs typically account for 18% to 20% of a company’s shares. Lee said inclusion in the index could bring hundreds or even thousands of additional institutional shareholders.
On financing, the company said it closed an offering on June 10 of 3,500,000 shares of 9.50% Series A Perpetual Preferred Stock at $80.00 per share. Net proceeds were about $273.8 million after underwriting discounts, commissions and estimated expenses. The preferred shares trade on the NYSE under BMNP, with dividends scheduled weekly under the applicable terms.
Bitmine calls itself the largest ETH treasury
Bitmine said its crypto treasury ranks as the world’s largest ETH treasury and the second-largest global corporate treasury behind Strategy Inc., which it said reportedly holds 847,363 BTC valued at roughly $50 billion. The company also pointed to trading activity in its stock. According to Fundstrat data cited in the release, Bitmine’s shares posted an average daily dollar volume of $643 million over five days through June 26, 2026, placing it No. 240 among 5,704 US-listed stocks.
