A massive whale transaction surfaced as Ethereum traded near the $68,000 level, with institutional accumulation picking up pace. On-chain analyst EmberCN first flagged an address (0xeCE…) that moved $52.46 million USDC to Binance and other exchanges, subsequently withdrawing 25,000 ETH (approx. $53.28 million). The funds did not land in a personal wallet but were routed through the institutional custody platform BitGo.

BitGo Relay: 45,000 ETH to Bitmine

Further tracking revealed that the 25,000 ETH was transferred from the exchange to BitGo, followed by an additional batch totaling 45,000 ETH (worth about $95.3 million) moving from BitGo directly to an address linked to BitMine Immersion Technologies. Bitmine, dubbed the "Bull Commander" by the crypto community, is known for its relentless ETH accumulation via BitGo and FalconX since announcing an Ethereum reserve last year. The firm has close ties to Wall Street analyst Tom Lee and typically buys on dips or through OTC deals.

The latest scoop adds to Bitmine's already substantial holdings. The purchases appear to have been executed in the $67,000–$69,000 range. While such large-scale accumulation suggests long-term bullish sentiment, the immediate market impact remains muted given the size relative to daily trading volume. Interestingly, several other whale addresses mirrored similar moves during the same window, though none matched Bitmine's scale.
