ETH Drops 62% From Highs, Bitmine Keeps Buying
Executive Chairman Thomas “Tom” Lee noted that Ethereum daily transactions hit an all-time high of 2.5 million, with active addresses surging to one million per day. Despite ETH dropping -62% from its 2025 peak, Bitmine added 40,613 ETH in the past week alone. “ETH sees V-shaped recoveries from major lows. A similar recovery is expected in 2026,” Lee said. Historically, all eight prior ETH declines of 50% or more rebounded sharply, reinforcing the firm's conviction to accumulate at current levels.
