Bitmine Immersion Technologies (NYSE: BMNR), the world's largest corporate holder of Ethereum, has achieved a major milestone in capital markets. According to an official statement on April 9, the company has successfully uplisted from NYSE American, with its common stock trading on the prestigious NYSE main board (Big Board) at market open Eastern Time.
Chairman Tom Lee stated: "Listing on NYSE main board is a significant milestone for Bitmine. NYSE is the most prestigious exchange with a long history admired by global capital markets, and we are proud to be its newest listed company."
Aggressive ETH Accumulation Targets 5% of Supply
As of April 6, 2026, Bitmine held approximately 4.803 million ETH, representing 3.98% of the total Ethereum supply. The company achieved 79% of its "Alchemy of 5%" strategic goal in just nine months. Total asset reserves stand at $11.4 billion, including $864 million in cash and other "Moonshots" investments.
The aggressive accumulation strategy is backed by an all-star investor lineup: ARK Invest's Cathie Wood, Founders Fund, legendary investor Bill Miller III, Pantera, Kraken, DCG, and Galaxy Digital. Bitmine claims leadership in both growth rate of net asset value per crypto share and BMNR stock trading liquidity.
Buyback Boosted to $4 Billion, Among Global Top 10
In addition to the uplisting, the board unanimously approved an expansion of the 2025 share repurchase plan from $1 billion to $4 billion. According to Fundstrat data, this buyback authorization ranks among the top 10 globally in 2026. Tom Lee explained: "The company wants to be well-positioned to retire common shares in a value-accretive manner when BMNR's share price falls below intrinsic value."
No major price reaction has been observed yet. However, market observers continue to debate Bitmine's concentration risk and its heavy dependence on Ethereum price performance.
