Odaily reported that Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said BlackRock has submitted a fourth S-1 amendment for its Bitcoin premium income ETF, the iShares Bitcoin Premium Income ETF (BITA). According to Balchunas, this filing is described as the fourth amendment and also as a version that could be the final S-1 amendment for the product.
The latest amendment disclosed BITA’s management fee for the first time, setting it at 0.65%. That fee is significantly higher than the 0.25% management fee charged by BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT. The newly disclosed figure places BITA and IBIT in direct comparison on fees, while the filing itself centers on the updated S-1 documentation for the Bitcoin premium income ETF.
An S-1 amendment is used to update key details in a fund filing, including product terms and fee information. In this case, the main new information is the first disclosure of BITA’s 0.65% management fee, alongside the continued reference point of IBIT’s 0.25% fee.
