Bitcoin ETFs added $223.21 million in net inflows on April 23, extending their winning run to eight consecutive days. BlackRock’s IBIT again set the pace, pulling in $167.49 million and accounting for the largest share of the day’s new money.
IBIT dominates as bitcoin ETF assets climb above $102 billion
Other funds also contributed to the positive session. Ark & 21Shares’ ARKB brought in $71.22 million, Morgan Stanley’s MSBT added $9.36 million, and Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust recorded $5.16 million in net inflows. Redemptions were present and more visible than in earlier sessions. Fidelity’s FBTC lost $16.93 million, Bitwise’s BITB saw $7.60 million in outflows, and Vaneck’s HODL posted a $5.50 million withdrawal. Even with that pressure, subscriptions remained well ahead of exits.
Trading volume across bitcoin ETFs reached $2.36 billion, while total net assets rose to $102.79 billion. The day’s flow profile showed that institutional demand remained intact, though the spread between winners and laggards widened.
Ether ETFs break a 10-day inflow run with $75.94 million in outflows
Ether ETFs moved the other way. After 10 straight days of net inflows, the segment posted a $75.94 million net outflow on April 23. Fidelity’s FETH led the declines with $51.30 million in exits. BlackRock’s ETHA followed with $20.95 million in outflows, and Grayscale’s ETHE lost $10.90 million.
There were still pockets of demand. Grayscale’s Ether Mini Trust attracted $19.76 million, but that was not enough to offset broader selling. Additional redemptions hit 21Shares’ TETH at $9.24 million and Bitwise’s ETHW at $3.31 million. Ether ETF trading volume came in at $747.11 million, and net assets eased to $13.71 billion.
XRP and Solana ETFs stay in positive territory
Smaller crypto ETF products continued to record selective inflows. XRP ETFs added $3.89 million, with Franklin’s XRPZ cited as the main driver. Trading activity was modest at $7.69 million, and net assets closed at $1.08 billion.
Solana ETFs turned in a stronger showing, bringing in $7.33 million for the day. Bitwise’s BSOL led with $6.20 million, while Vaneck’s VSOL added $1.13 million. Trading volume reached $47.38 million, and net assets stood at $874.13 million. The session highlighted a clear split: bitcoin kept attracting steady allocations, ether cooled after a long inflow streak, and smaller altcoin ETFs continued to draw limited but visible demand.
