BNB Chain is set to activate the Pasteur hard fork on its mainnet at 02:30 UTC on Aug. 25, according to Techub News. The upgrade introduces three proposals under BEP-673: stronger bridge verification, secure validator key rotation, and higher block capacity. Pasteur had already gone live on the testnet on July 21. One of the included changes, BEP-675, is expected to raise block throughput from 1,237 TPS to 2,324 TPS.
