BNB fell to around $549 after losing a multi-year ascending trendline on June 29. Bollinger Bands and MACD readings continue to point to seller control, with $541.57 and $584.21 now acting as key short-term levels.

BNB dropped to around $549 after the latest wave of selling, posting a daily decline of about 1% and breaking below a multi-year ascending trendline. Broader crypto market activity has remained soft, and recoveries across major assets have been limited. For BNB, the loss of that long-standing support has added a clearer technical breakdown to an already weak setup.

June 29 Break Put Long-Term Support in Focus

Crypto analyst Token Talk said BNB broke beneath its multi-year ascending trendline on June 29, 2026. That line had represented a zone of strong buying interest for a long time. Once such a level gives way, the market structure can shift, and an area that had supported price may start acting as resistance instead.

Token Talk said BNB could face a deeper decline if buyers fail to reclaim the broken trendline in the near term. The next move matters. A fast recovery back above the lost support would change the tone, but that has not happened yet.

Bollinger Bands Keep Price Near the Weak End of the Range

Current Bollinger Band readings show BNB trading close to the lower band. The lower band stands at $541.57, the middle band at $584.21, and the upper band at $626.86. Since its June peak, BNB has stayed near the lower end of the range, a sign that selling pressure has remained in place rather than fading.

Bollinger Bands are used to track price volatility and position within a trading range. Trading near the lower band points to weakness. A move back above the middle band would suggest an attempt to restore balance in the short term, but price has yet to make that move.

MACD Remains Negative as Traders Watch $541 and $584

Momentum indicators also lean bearish. The MACD line is at -18.86, the signal line at -16.26, and the histogram at -2.60. The histogram is not deeply extended, but staying below zero still indicates that downward momentum has not cleared.

Short-term attention is now centered on two levels. If buyers regain control and push BNB above the $584.21 middle Bollinger band, sentiment could improve and the recently broken trendline would be tested again as possible support. If selling intensifies and price falls below the $541.57 lower band, the decline could accelerate. The next few trading sessions are likely to define the near-term direction.
