On-chain analyst Specter said the addresses involved in the Bonk governance attack may be linked to the founder of Realms and X user Crypto Notte. According to Specter’s thread, the malicious proposal was created by an address starting with 8xxRd, while voting activity came from addresses beginning with CyEE7 and FQnQYa. Specter added that a suspected Binance deposit address associated with CyEE7, starting with 8rYQBE, had previously received funds from two other addresses: 5zvDd3 and 6MPyZ. The 6MPyZ address was identified as a public address belonging to Crypto Notte on X. As for 5zvDd3, Specter pointed to a January 2023 DAO game proposal created by the Realms founder to test Realms. That proposal allowed users to vote with BONK, and the first voter would receive 1 DEANS. Specter said 5zvDd3 was that first voter, and Realms publicly transferred 1 DEANS to the address.

On-chain trail highlights multiple connected addresses

On-chain analyst Specter said in a post on X that the addresses tied to the Bonk governance attack may be connected to the founder of Realms and to Crypto Notte. Based on Specter’s account, the attacker used an address starting with 8xxRd to submit a malicious proposal, and then used addresses beginning with CyEE7 and FQnQYa to cast votes.

Specter further claimed that a suspected Binance deposit address linked to the CyEE7 wallet, starting with 8rYQBE, had previously received transfers from addresses starting with 5zvDd3 and 6MPyZ. Among them, the 6MPyZ address was described as a public address associated with X user Crypto Notte.

Regarding the 5zvDd3 address, Specter pointed to an earlier on-chain interaction from January 2023. At that time, the founder of Realms created a DAO game proposal to test the Realms platform. The proposal allowed users to vote with BONK, and the first voter would receive 1 DEANS. Specter said the 5zvDd3 address was the first voter in that proposal, and Realms publicly transferred 1 DEANS to that address.
