Trader Bonk Guy said his X account was locked about a week ago after he posted about the Arc blockchain, and that the platform required a 「paid partnership」 label on the post before the account could be restored. He said the post mentioned Arc, Long and Fomo, but added that he had never interacted with Arc, only first spoke with Long after the post went live, and that Fomo had always publicly disclosed its referral-link relationship. Bonk Guy said he received no payment or partnership arrangement from Arc or Long. He added that, after looking into the issue, X appeared to require posts containing referral links to carry the 「paid partnership」 label, even though he does not believe that description is accurate in his case. Bonk Guy also said Pumpfun approached him about a month ago to trade on the platform and later proposed a product adviser role and other forms of cooperation, all of which he declined. He said he plans to keep sharing positions, trades and market views on X while following the platform’s current rules.

According to BlockBeats, trader Bonk Guy said on Sept. 22 that his X account was locked about a week ago after he published a post about the Arc blockchain. He said X told him to add a 「paid partnership」 label to the post or the account would not be restored.

Bonk Guy said the post mentioned three brands: Arc, Long and Fomo. He said he had never interacted with Arc, that his first contact with Long came only after the post was published, and that Fomo had consistently disclosed its referral-link relationship in public. He stressed that he did not receive any payment or partnership arrangement from Arc or Long.

After looking into the matter, Bonk Guy said X appeared to require posts with referral links to use the 「paid partnership」 label. He said he does not think the label is accurate, but has decided to comply with the rule and resume using X.

He again denied ever taking paid shill deals. Bonk Guy also disclosed that Pumpfun approached him about a month ago to trade on the platform, and later proposed other forms of cooperation including a product adviser role. He said he turned down those offers.

He gave three reasons for declining: a mismatch in values, his view that the other side had previously launched a public-opinion attack against him, and the fact that he does not need income from that kind of arrangement.

Looking ahead, Bonk Guy said he is still open to commercial partnerships tied to products he approves of and believes are beneficial to his followers. He said any such deal would require that he genuinely wants to use the product, is willing to endorse it, and fully discloses the relationship.

He added that his return to X is mainly because he does not want to be 「removed from the platform」. He said he will follow X’s current rules and, after being quiet for a week, is ready to continue sharing positions, trades and market views.
