Bonkguy, the trader behind the @theunipcs account, has moved to the top of the fomo platform’s trader rankings after a fresh round of meme coin gains, with recent attention also focusing on a separate claim that he is 64 years old.

That detail was attributed to crypto KOL Rune in a report published by MarsBit and credited to Odaily. The claim quickly made Bonkguy a conversation piece. Rune, however, had already seen his credibility score on the platform fall to zero after the earlier FAMI/JINQIAN meme coin controversy.
What sets Bonkguy apart from many traders who became prominent during the previous meme cycle, the report says, is his reputation for holding through volatility. Odaily used on-chain data to map out his current positions and retrace how he reached the top of the fomo leaderboard.
Largest fomo positions are concentrated in PONS, USELESS and Marscoin
According to information from on-chain analytics platform Arkham cited in the report, Bonkguy’s main meme coin holdings on fomo include:

- PONS: nearly 10.96 million tokens valued at $6.8 million;
- USELESS: more than 15.905 million tokens valued at $3.91 million;
- Marscoin: nearly 25 million tokens valued at $3.14 million;
- Microduck: more than 11.63 million tokens valued at nearly $350,000;
- BOW: more than 25.5 million tokens valued at more than $250,000.
The report adds that he also holds MemeStock, Pair, Niu Lai, YOLO, DTF, RAM, JUGGERNAUT and HOODRAT, among other meme tokens on Robinhood-chain and BSC, with those additional positions worth hundreds of thousands of dollars in total.
Bonkguy has also publicly promoted some of these holdings. The report says he has been calling attention to USELESS for more than a year and is even more bullish on it than he was on BONK when he traded that token near its lows in 2023. He described USELESS’s move in market capitalization from $4 million to $450 million last year as only a "test run."
More recently, he has highlighted Marscoin, a meme token on BSC, saying it is "one of the meme coins most worth watching on BNB Chain in this cycle," with a possible next target of a Binance spot listing.

Robinhood-chain meme rally drove the latest profit surge
The report says the biggest share of Bonkguy’s recent gains has come from meme tokens on Robinhood-chain.
On Aug. 31, Bonkguy posted that his cumulative spot trading profit, or PNL, had exceeded $10 million. He said profit over the previous 24 hours was more than $2.3 million, and profit over the previous 30 days was more than $5.7 million.
He identified PONS, DELTA, Microduck, MARSCOIN and USELESS as his main recent winning trades. Based on his own figures:

- PONS was up about 6,000% from his average entry price and about 9,100% from his first entry price to current levels;
- DELTA was up about 1,500%;
- Microduck was up about 610%;
- MARSCOIN was up about 35%;
- USELESS was up about 18%, and he said it would "rise again soon."
He also said he made more than 10 new trades over the past month and was running a win rate above 80%. The report points to PONS as a standout example: Bonkguy said he spent only around $67,000 building the position and made nearly a 100x return.
As PONS pushed to fresh highs and Robinhood-chain meme activity intensified, the total value of Bonkguy’s holdings on fomo moved past $15 million and reached $15.74 million, putting him in first place on the platform’s profit rankings.
From BONK to a string of seven-figure meme trades
On Sept. 1, Bonkguy looked back on his earlier meme coin trading history. He said that in 2023 he used a $16,000 principal and 6x leverage to trade BONK, eventually growing the position to more than $20 million.

He then listed a series of large trades that followed:
- WIF: a $6,000 position grew to about $1.4 million;
- FARTCOIN: roughly $300,000 grew into a position worth more than $8 million;
- POPCAT and PNUT: investments of tens of thousands of dollars each generated more than $1 million in profit;
- MAGA, DOGEGOV and the Roaring Kitty meta: investments ranging from several thousand to tens of thousands of dollars produced returns of $5 million and even $10 million.
Bonkguy also said that most of the gains from those trades were later lost during last year’s "10·11 historic crash."
He also cuts losses, and JINQIAN was a sharp example
The report says Bonkguy has not been winning on every trade in the current Robinhood-chain meme cycle, nor has he rigidly stuck to his image as a "diamond hands" trader. He has taken losses when needed, and JINQIAN is the clearest case cited in the article.

BonkGuy fully exited his JINQIAN position yesterday. According to the report, he bought in through three separate transactions totaling about $147,600, with an average purchase market capitalization of about $29.658 million. He later sold when the token’s market capitalization was about $5.839 million, ending with a loss of roughly $118,700, or 80.42%.
After the sale, he wrote, "Sometimes you just have to take the loss."
The report adds that for meme coins with no real community base, weak meme appeal and little market attention, leaving at a loss can be the better choice.

Public wallet data may show only part of the picture
The article says the figures above cover Bonkguy’s on-chain holdings and trading activity, but not necessarily his full crypto portfolio. He has previously moved part of his holdings to centralized exchanges and has said the public wallet represents only part of his trading setup, partly for security reasons and to reduce wallet monitoring.
Separate wallet monitoring data cited in the report shows his total cryptocurrency holdings are worth about $15.22 million.
