A whale on Hyperliquid previously placed buy orders totaling $76.88 million between $71,111 and $75,777 for a BTC pullback. However, BTC's rally left all orders unfilled, and they were canceled on Sept 4. The whale has now shifted its bid to $77,888, with a single order of 956.85 BTC worth $74.527 million. During the period, the whale took partial profits, selling 28.05 BTC for a gain of only $64,000, reducing its holdings by 26.4%. Sell orders above remain intact, including a $6.96 million sell at $88,888 and $70.32 million in sell orders from $84,509 to $108,720.

On Sept 8, according to TradingBeats monitoring, a whale with address starting with 0xf517 on Hyperliquid has adjusted its BTC pullback buy strategy. Initially, on Sept 2, the whale placed buy orders totaling approximately $76.88 million across three price tiers between $71,111 and $75,777, intending to buy $76 million worth of BTC, and set a take-profit grid of about $70 million above.

However, BTC's price rallied, leaving all three buy orders unexecuted, and they were fully canceled on Sept 4. Now, the whale has moved its buy zone higher: a single buy order of 956.85 BTC (worth about $74.527 million) sits at $77,888. This is $2,111 (2.8%) above the previous highest buy price of $75,777. At current BTC price, a decline of about 1.4% would trigger the order.

During the missed opportunity, the whale partially closed some positions. It took profit on 28.05 BTC, but only gained about $64,000, reducing its holdings to 78.31 BTC, a 26.4% decrease.

Notably, the original sell plan above remains unchanged: a sell order of approximately $6.96 million at $88,888 (marked as position reduction only), and 163 sell orders totaling $70.32 million between $84,509 and $108,720.

BlockBeats previously reported that the whale had placed a $158 million order to position for a bull run, targeting BTC at $100,000.
