Bubblemaps said on X that the top 10 traders on the fomo platform are sitting on more than $50 million in unrealized gains on paper. The firm added that the number may overstate what those traders could actually take home if they tried to exit their positions. To test that gap, Bubblemaps selected the largest holding for each of the top 10 Fomo traders and simulated the value of those positions after an actual sale. Its conclusion was that the leaderboard typically values holdings using a fixed token price, while leaving out the price impact caused by large sell orders. That means the displayed profit figure can diverge sharply from realizable returns once liquidity and slippage are taken into account. The post did not disclose additional figures beyond the more than $50 million paper-gain estimate, but it framed the leaderboard metric as an incomplete measure of what traders could truly realize in the market.

Odaily reported that Bubblemaps said on X the top 10 traders on the fomo platform currently hold more than $50 million in paper profits.

Bubblemaps also said actual profit could come in well below that figure if those positions were sold.

The firm said it took the largest holding of each of the top 10 Fomo traders and simulated the value of the positions after a real sale. It found that the leaderboard usually calculates position value at a fixed token price, without accounting for the price impact created by large sell orders.
