Bybit said today that it is launching Bybit AI, a built-in conversational assistant that combines trading, customer support and other core functions inside the exchange’s app.
The company said users will be able to use a single interface within the Bybit app to carry out routine tasks including smart trading, account management and inquiries.
Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou is set to officially introduce Bybit AI and demonstrate it live on Sept. 9 at 8:00 a.m. UTC during a Bybit livestream.
A single interface for trading and account tasks
According to Bybit, users can describe what they want in natural language, and the system will identify the intent and carry out the corresponding action. The company framed the product as an assistant for day-to-day trading and account management.
Bybit said the tool is meant to replace a fragmented user flow that previously required switching between web pages, menus and forms to find functions. With the new setup, users can make requests in a conversational format to complete tasks ranging from checking asset balances and placing orders to submitting customer service tickets.
Two core modules in the first release
The initial launch of Bybit AI covers two main modules:
- A full-featured AI assistant covering spot, derivatives and options trading, as well as Bybit Earn, copy trading, trading bots, loans, P2P, Bybit Card, Spot X, the Rewards Hub, and notification and subscription management.
- An upgraded intelligent customer service system in which Bybit AI works together with human support staff while aiming to improve issue resolution efficiency.
Dedicated sub-account created after activation
Bybit said that once users enable Bybit AI, the system will create a dedicated Bybit AI sub-account. Its assets will be separated from those in the user’s main account, which the company said is intended to reduce potential AI execution risk.
The exchange added that users can activate the feature directly after logging in, with no API key or manual configuration required.
Part of Bybit’s broader platform plan
Bybit described Bybit AI as an important part of its “New Financial Platform” strategy. The company also said the launch reflects a longer-term path of treating conversational intelligence as core infrastructure for the exchange.
