Bybit co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou said during a Bybit AI launch livestream that the exchange’s AI assistant currently uses the Claude Sonnet 4.6 model. He also outlined how the product handles trade execution and risk controls during the trial period.
According to Zhou, all trades are carried out through a separate AI sub-account created automatically by the system, keeping those activities isolated from funds in a user’s main account. Users can set a range of control parameters, including asset caps, permissions for deposits, withdrawals and internal transfers, leverage limits, contract leverage limits, and take-profit and stop-loss settings.
Zhou added that any executable action still requires a second confirmation from the user before it can go through. Bybit AI is currently in a trial phase and is being offered free of charge for now. The platform has also set daily question limits based on user tier, with quotas resetting each day.
