Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has officially joined Western Union's newly launched USDPT stablecoin network. USDPT is a dollar-pegged stablecoin issued by Western Union, designed to provide efficient and low-cost digital asset solutions for global payments.

Through the integration, Bybit opens a gateway for USDPT to access crypto market liquidity, allowing users to trade and swap the token on its platform. This broadens the stablecoin's distribution and gives Western Union exposure to digital asset investors. For Bybit, adding a compliant stablecoin enhances its product ecosystem, addressing demand for low-volatility assets.
The move comes as payment providers increasingly adopt stablecoins to reduce cross-border settlement costs and improve transaction speed. The collaboration between Western Union, a remittance giant, and Bybit, a major crypto exchange, underscores the growing convergence of traditional payment infrastructure and digital asset markets.
