TechFlow reported that Bybit officially launched RWA Earn on June 15. Through partnerships with Plume and DigiFT, the product provides eligible users with access to tokenized institutional-grade financial products, bringing fixed-income products from traditional finance into the crypto environment.
Access to Two Tokenized Institutional Bond Funds
Bybit RWA Earn opens a channel for qualified users to subscribe to two tokenized institutional bond funds. The underlying assets of the funds are managed respectively by PIMCO, formally Pacific Investment Management Company, LLC, and CMB International Asset Management. Users who successfully subscribe can purchase directly with the USDC stablecoin, allowing them to connect with traditional financial markets without leaving the crypto ecosystem.
The product offers two investment choices described in the announcement. Users may select the PIMCO Dynamic Income Fund to seek returns from diversified asset allocation, or choose the CMBI investment-grade bond fund to seek returns from Asian and global credit markets. Bybit presents RWA Earn as a way for crypto users to access institutional fixed-income strategies that have traditionally been more readily available to large institutional investors.
Zero-Fee Structure and Regulated Tokenization Infrastructure
Bybit lists several core features for RWA Earn, including lower market entry barriers, a zero-fee structure and compliance-focused infrastructure. In traditional institutional bond fund investing, large institutional investors have typically held an advantage in accessing such products, while retail users often face higher thresholds. RWA Earn is designed to let crypto users invest directly in institutional fixed-income strategies and gain exposure to financial products managed by established institutions.
On fees, users who successfully subscribe pay zero subscription fees and zero redemption fees, while Bybit covers all on-chain gas fees to reduce the cost of participation. On infrastructure, the on-chain products are tokenized through DigiFT, a platform regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, and the underlying assets are managed by PIMCO and CMB International Asset Management. Bybit said the launch of RWA Earn marks its strategic expansion in the RWA ecosystem, while also reflecting the broader development of tokenized RWA and the movement of traditional financial assets on-chain as a bridge between traditional finance and decentralized finance.
