The product now lets users complete tasks such as flight booking, train ticket purchases, ride-hailing and route navigation directly through natural-language requests.
Examples cited in the report include asking Doubao to book a flight from Beijing to Shanghai for the next day or to call a car to Beijing Capital Airport. Doubao then identifies the user’s intent and connects to the relevant service, removing the need to switch between multiple apps.
On partnerships, the report said Doubao works with Flight Manager and High-Speed Rail Manager for flight searches, price comparison, online booking and order management.
