Cango has released its Bitcoin production and mining operations update for December 2025, saying favorable network difficulty adjustments helped support stable operating hash rate levels and stronger daily Bitcoin output. As a result, the company said its total Bitcoin holdings rose to 7,528.3 BTC.

The company also reiterated that it holds Bitcoin for the long term and does not currently intend to sell any of its holdings. That position keeps the focus on accumulation, with monthly production feeding directly into treasury growth rather than near-term disposals.

Management points to stronger production and fresh capital support

CEO and Director Paul Yu said Cango delivered solid and consistent operational growth through 2025. In December, network difficulty changes supported higher daily Bitcoin production while the company maintained stable operating hash rate levels.

Yu also said that in late December 2025, a major shareholder decided to increase its investment in Cango through a US$10.5 million commitment. The transaction is expected to close in January 2026. According to the company, the new capital is set to support higher Bitcoin mining efficiency and speed up the parallel buildout of its energy and AI compute platform in 2026.

More than 40 mining sites across four regions

Cango describes itself as a Bitcoin mining company seeking to build an integrated global infrastructure platform for the digital economy. Its mining operations span more than 40 sites across North America, the Middle East, South America, and East Africa.

Since entering the digital asset sector in November 2024, the company said it has launched pilot projects in integrated energy solutions and distributed AI computing. Alongside those efforts, Cango continues to run its international online used-car export business through AutoCango.com.
