Capital B CEO Alexandre Laizet said in an interview at BTCPrague that the company plans to keep buying Bitcoin in the fastest and most value-accretive way possible, then hold it for the long term. He said financial institutions and companies around the world are accelerating their adoption of Bitcoin, and added that the U.S. government has designated the Bitcoin held in its strategic reserve as an asset that will not be sold. Laizet also argued that because most global capital can only gain exposure through securities markets, listed companies are in a position to expand their Bitcoin holdings through equity and debt financing. In his view, that gives public companies a route to take part in the development of digital capital markets. The interview remarks were shared in a Techub News item and reposted by @WuBlockchain.
