The stream promoted a crypto giveaway and told viewers they could “double your wealth” by scanning a QR code. According to the report, the livestream presented itself as a town hall for Project Catalyst, Cardano’s decentralized community innovation fund and grant program, and remained live for nearly two hours. In a notice posted on its official X account, the company told users to avoid the channel until further notice and said they should not click any links, send funds, or share personal information in response to the content.
