According to Techub News, the well-known exchange Cboe has officially launched Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetual futures contracts. The product uses cash settlement to mimic the exposure characteristics of perpetual swaps while reducing investors' need to periodically roll over their positions.
This launch helps channel the demand for crypto derivatives that was previously concentrated in offshore markets into the regulated U.S. market structure. As a globally recognized options and futures exchange, Cboe has long been committed to providing digital asset trading tools within a compliant framework. The newly introduced perpetual futures contracts combine long-dated contracts with daily cash adjustment mechanisms, offering institutional investors hedging and tactical exposure tools for cryptocurrencies while maintaining regulatory compliance, further enriching the U.S. domestic crypto derivatives ecosystem.
