CELIA, the token of Celia Wallet, experienced a sharp post-listing decline on March 30, dropping from an expected price above $0.20 to a range of $0.0025-$0.0030, a roughly 98% fall. In response, the project swiftly injected $20,000 into the BNB liquidity pool as Phase One and permanently burned over 70 million unclaimed tokens.
Phase One Liquidity Goes Live
The liquidity injection came shortly after listing, but fell far short of the previously promised $500,000 pool support. The swap was briefly paused during the injection to avoid slippage losses caused by shallow pool depth. The team described the capital injection as the first phase, attributing the price decline to early investors taking profits — a normal occurrence, they said. They added that once selling pressure subsides, stronger hands may support the token's recovery.
Price Collapse Worse Than Expected
Before listing, the community anticipated a price above $0.20, backed by the $500K liquidity promise. Instead, CELIA opened around $0.01 and quickly fell to $0.0025-$0.0030, trading nearly 98% below expectations. The project acknowledged that a much larger capital injection would be needed for meaningful price recovery.
70M Unclaimed Tokens Burned Permanently
On March 29, the project executed a permanent burn of all unclaimed CELIA tokens from the March claim period, totaling over 70 million tokens. The move was announced in advance and aims to reduce circulating supply, potentially supporting price models over the long term.
Contract Wolf Audit and Founder KYC Aim to Restore Trust
To counter scam allegations, the project disclosed that its smart contract had been audited by Contract Wolf, achieving a 93% score with no major bugs. The founder also revealed that KYC documentation is ready for release to authorities in case of any malicious activity like a rug pull. Despite these efforts, community members continue to demand transparency regarding the token contract address, wallet migration visibility, and unclaimed balances.
The next liquidity phase will be critical in determining whether CELIA can stabilize or continue its decline. All eyes are on the project's ability to deliver on further commitments.
