Centrifuge and IOSG Ventures are expanding their partnership with a $500 million tokenization initiative focused on Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.

Centrifuge and IOSG Ventures have launched a $500 million tokenization initiative aimed at expanding institutional access to tokenized assets across Asia. Under the arrangement, Centrifuge will supply tokenization infrastructure and fund management technology, while IOSG Ventures will use its regional network of institutional investors, family offices, and digital asset firms to widen distribution.

Infrastructure from Centrifuge, regional reach from IOSG

Centrifuge is known for building infrastructure that brings real-world assets on-chain through tokenization. IOSG Ventures is an Asia-based crypto investment firm with a track record of backing early blockchain projects. In this partnership, Centrifuge will support the issuance and management of institutional-scale tokenized investment products, and IOSG will contribute local market knowledge, regulatory relationships, and access to its regional distribution channels. The firms said they plan to work with banks, asset managers, and licensed financial institutions to explore putting funds and other real-world assets onto blockchain networks.

The target markets are Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea. The initiative also includes institutional roundtables, meetings with regulators, exchange partnerships, and integration of Centrifuge products into platforms connected to the IOSG network.

Asian demand rises as regulatory frameworks take shape

The companies said Asia remains one of the fastest-growing markets for tokenized assets. Bhaji Illuminati said that as adoption expands, the opportunity to connect institutional issuers, investors, and on-chain markets is gaining momentum. The report also noted that institutional interest in tokenized assets has increased sharply across Asia over the past year, driven by clearer regulatory frameworks and rising demand for new investment options.

Hong Kong continues to develop rules for tokenized financial products, while financial organizations in Japan and South Korea are examining blockchain-based investment solutions more closely. At the same time, family offices and licensed investment platforms are looking for reliable infrastructure providers as they prepare to enter the sector.

A partnership that started in 2021 keeps growing

The latest move extends a relationship that began in 2021. IOSG was an early investor in Centrifuge during the first phase of the tokenized real-world asset market, and later joined Centrifuge’s $15 million funding round in 2024. IOSG has also increased its exposure by buying more Centrifuge tokens on the open market, in line with Centrifuge’s plan to expand its fund management platform and on-chain asset infrastructure.

On the product side, Centrifuge launched its “Liquidity Rewards” program in late 2025, drawing more than $500 million in total value locked. The project also recently expanded interoperability in tokenized asset pools through integrations with major layer-1 networks including Ethereum and Solana.
