Chainlink’s blockchain expansion is quietly accelerating. Its February update integrates key services across three new networks: Circle’s stablecoin test environment Arc, DogeOS Chikyu for Dogecoin applications, and MegaETH, a high-performance Ethereum Layer-2 launched in February 2026. This is less about hype and more about giving users and builders stronger tools for real-world operations.
CCIP Goes Live on Arc, DogeOS Chikyu, and MegaETH
Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now active on all three chains. Arc serves as Circle’s stablecoin sandbox from late 2025, DogeOS Chikyu supports the DogeCoin app layer, and MegaETH targets real-time applications with high throughput. Users can now move tokens and data more securely across these ecosystems, reducing reliance on risky bridges and simplifying multi-chain DeFi.
CRE and Data Streams Target Automation and Low-Latency
Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) expands to World Chain, enabling identity-aware, automated cross-chain workflows. This matters for institutions exploring tokenized assets, yield automation, and compliant DeFi. Meanwhile, Chainlink Data Streams went live on MegaETH via native precompiles, delivering ultra-low-latency market data for high-speed protocols like Aave and GMX. The Scale program provides access to roughly $14 billion in assets across these protocols.
What Users Can Do More Easily Now
Ultra-low-latency data feeds power fast, accurate pricing for trading, lending, and derivatives on MegaETH. Chainlink Scale connects MegaETH users to billions in assets across Aave, GMX, and others. CRE enables seamless cross-chain workflows like yield optimization and tokenized asset management, reducing manual effort and operational risk.
Market Reaction: LINK Bucks Flat Bitcoin, Treasury Grows
LINK rose 2.28% to roughly $8.87 in 24 hours, outperforming Bitcoin and the broader altcoin market. Its treasury now holds over 2.17 million LINK tokens, purchased with real protocol revenue. Additionally, Robinhood’s new blockchain chose Chainlink as its core oracle provider, and CME Group is advancing toward 24/7 crypto derivatives trading, including LINK futures.
2026 Outlook: Deepening Infrastructure Role
Chainlink now powers over 2,500 protocols across 75+ blockchains and is used by 80+ major financial institutions. Short-term price rallies may fade, but these integrations steadily reinforce LINK’s role as backbone infrastructure for onchain finance, especially as tokenized assets shift from pilots to full production in 2026.
