Exchanges typically charge three types of fees: deposit, trading, and withdrawal. Changelly PRO has published a detailed fee structure it says is among the most competitive and transparent. The headline: cryptocurrency deposits are entirely free. For fiat deposits, the fee ranges from 1% to 7%, depending on the payment method and fiat provider selected at the Changelly Fiat-to-Crypto Marketplace. Bank transfers are recommended for lower deposit costs.
Maker/Taker Trading Fees: Higher Volume, Lower Rates
Changelly PRO uses the maker-taker model. Orders that do not fill immediately make the user a maker (providing liquidity); orders matched instantly make the user a taker (consuming liquidity). Maker fees are generally lower. The fee tier is determined by the user's BTC trading volume over the past 30 days. Starter accounts have a fixed 0.1% maker/0.1% taker. Trader and PRO accounts access a sliding schedule. Example: a user with 12 BTC volume in 30 days buys 3 BTC as a maker, paying 0.0027 BTC (3 BTC ÷ 100 × 0.09% = 0.0027 BTC). Another user with 120 BTC volume buys 3 BTC as a taker, paying 0.003 BTC (3 BTC ÷ 100 × 0.01% = 0.003 BTC).
Withdrawal Fees: Flat, Industry-Low Rates
Withdrawal fees at Changelly PRO are flat per transaction, not proportional to amount. Minimum withdrawal starts from zero. Key tokens: 0.0004 BTC for Bitcoin, 0.25 XRP for Ripple, 0.003 ETH for Ethereum, 4 USDT for Tether. The fee mainly covers network costs.
With clear and volume-linked pricing, Changelly PRO aims to reduce friction for both casual and active traders. For further questions, contact support@pro.changelly.com.
