China and the United States held economic and trade consultations in New York on Sept. 20 local time, according to Xinhua. China’s lead official, Vice Premier He Lifeng, met with the U.S. leads, Treasury Secretary Bessent and Trade Representative Greer. The two sides said the talks were guided by the important consensus reached by the two heads of state and were conducted under the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation.
