Pharos Network has officially deployed Circle’s USDC stablecoin and the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) on its layer‑1 blockchain, marking a major step toward building an inclusive, global settlement layer for real‑world finance (RealFi). By embedding USDC at the protocol level, Pharos introduces a transparent, fully reserved, dollar‑denominated stablecoin that will serve as a core settlement and collateral asset for tokenized real-world assets (RWAs), decentralized finance (DeFi) trading and lending, and cross‑border payments.
USDC as the Backbone of RealFi
The integration allows developers on Pharos to build compliant lending markets, structured financial products, and always‑on payment networks using USDC as the base asset. According to the announcement, this eliminates the need for fragmented stablecoin solutions and brings institutional‑grade reliability to the Pharos ecosystem.
CCTP Unlocks Seamless Cross-Chain Liquidity
With CCTP, Pharos gains native interoperability with more than 20 blockchains and over 400 secure transaction routes. USDC transfers can flow directly between Pharos and other supported networks without relying on third‑party bridges or wrapped tokens, preserving asset integrity and capital efficiency. This positions Pharos as a hub for cross-chain liquidity and RWA distribution.
Pharos Foundation's Vision
“RealFi requires both trusted settlement and global accessibility,” said Wish Wu of the Pharos Foundation. “The integration of USDC and CCTP brings institutional-grade reliability to Pharos while making that reliability accessible to developers and users worldwide. Our vision has always been to build truly inclusive infrastructure capable of supporting real‑world financial markets.”
$10M Incubator to Fuel RealFi Innovation
Earlier, Pharos launched a $10 million incubator program to accelerate the development of native applications focused on RWA tokenization, compliant DeFi, and global payment solutions. The program underscores Pharos’ commitment to expanding access to real‑world financial opportunities and fostering innovation within its ecosystem. With USDC and CCTP now live, the network is poised to attract a new wave of developers and institutional partners seeking a reliable settlement infrastructure for RealFi.
