Circle has entered a partnership with payment technology firm Volante Technologies to integrate USDC-related workflows into Volante’s existing payments platform. The setup is designed to let financial institutions bring stablecoin payments and settlement into their current systems without building a separate digital asset technology stack. According to the information released, Volante’s client base includes four of the world’s top five corporate banks and seven of the top 10 U.S. banks. Those institutions will be able to assess a range of USDC functions, including minting, redemption, wallet registration, liquidity funding, and wallet-to-wallet payments, while using them alongside existing payment rails. The announcement centers on operational integration and institutional access to USDC workflows through infrastructure already used in banking payments.
