Cluster Protocol said it has raised $5 million in a new funding round led by DAO5, with participation from Paper Ventures, JPEG Trading, Mapleblock Capital, and other investors. The company said the raise brings its total funding to $7.75 million, with the new capital earmarked for CodeXero, its browser-native AI IDE built for the EVM ecosystem.
The company describes itself as an AI deeptech and Web3 infrastructure builder. In its announcement, Cluster Protocol said it has spent the last several years building intelligence, orchestration, and execution layers for open and programmable internet systems, and is now channeling that foundation into CodeXero. The product is designed to cut down the steps between describing an onchain idea and shipping it as a live product.
CodeXero centers on browser-based onchain building
According to the release, CodeXero lets users describe what they want to build and then uses an AI engine to generate deployment-ready smart contracts, DeFi logic, tokenomics models, and launch flows. Cluster Protocol said the system runs on its decentralized compute infrastructure and has been trained on more than 200 audited smart contract patterns.
The company framed CodeXero as more than a coding interface. It said the broader goal is to connect ideation, creation, launch, monetization, and community extension inside one workflow, rather than spreading those steps across disconnected systems.
New capital targets product, engineering, and ecosystem growth
Cluster Protocol CEO Yatharth Jain said the company was founded on the view that the next internet would need intelligence, orchestration, and execution rails built for open and programmable environments. He said CodeXero turns that infrastructure base into a direct product experience, and added that reaching $7.75 million in total funding signals market support for that direction.
The company said the fresh capital will go toward product and engineering expansion across the CodeXero stack, deeper AI systems behind the browser experience, deployment infrastructure, and ecosystem growth. DAO5 founder Tekin Salimi said Cluster built from infrastructure upward, which in his view gives CodeXero the depth to become a serious platform for onchain builders rather than a surface-level tool.
Company cites 300,000+ connected wallets and 25,000 dApps deployed
Cluster Protocol also disclosed usage figures tied to CodeXero. It said the platform has passed 300,000+ connected wallets, processed more than 3 billion AI tokens, and supported the deployment of over 25,000 dApps. The company presented those numbers as evidence that CodeXero is among the more actively used AI-native application builder stacks in crypto.
On partnerships, the announcement pointed to work with Filecoin around decentralized storage and compute at the protocol layer, as well as alignment across multiple EVM ecosystems, including a recent collaboration with AI Seer. Cluster Protocol added that more than 400 partner IPs now feed into CodeXero’s execution engine, spanning GPU networks, data providers, agent platforms, and specialized skill modules. Mapleblock Capital founding partner Vijay Garg said the product is aimed at linking concept, executable product, and community-driven market activity inside a single workflow.
