CodeCoin used the 2026 IMF and World Bank annual meetings week to launch a Visa card tied to licensed stablecoin payments and to publish a policy paper with Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The company said the event responded to the meetings’ focus on a multi-rail monetary future, where central bank digital currencies, stablecoins and traditional bank money coexist over the long term. The card supports one-tap linking with Apple Pay and Google Pay and connects licensed stablecoins to Visa’s global merchant network. CodeCoin said the setup is designed to test an auditable, spendable and neutral settlement channel. At the same event, founder Huang Jianbin delivered a keynote on global stablecoin trends and compliance-based trust infrastructure, while a roundtable covered stablecoins and payment infrastructure for AI agents. CodeCoin also said it holds a stablecoin issuer license from Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Centre, is advancing its in-house stablecoin CUSD, and has completed licensing preparations in major global regions. The company announced a Visa card technology partnership with Sand Group and signed MOUs with Tiger Brokers and Longsheng Group. It also introduced a three-part cardholder promotion with benefits of up to $1,000, 8% spending cashback and prize-draw rewards.

During the 2026 IMF and World Bank annual meetings week, CodeCoin launched its CodeCoin Visa Card and released the Southeast Asia Fintech Policy Green Paper with Hong Kong Polytechnic University, according to Techub News.

The meetings put heavy focus on a future of multiple monetary rails coexisting, including central bank digital currencies, stablecoins and traditional bank money. The discussion centered on interoperability, lower cross-border settlement friction and trust-building. Against that backdrop, CodeCoin co-hosted a side event with the Rebuilding Bretton Woods Committee (RBWC), BRICS Thailand and the Center for Business Technology and Innovation (CBIT) at the School of Business of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

At the event, the company introduced the CodeCoin Visa Card. It supports one-tap linking with Apple Pay and Google Pay and connects licensed stablecoins to Visa’s global merchant network. CodeCoin said the product is intended to explore an auditable, spendable and neutral settlement channel.

Stablecoins and payment infrastructure were central topics

CodeCoin founder Huang Jianbin delivered a keynote speech on global stablecoin trends and compliance-based trust infrastructure. A roundtable session examined stablecoins and payment infrastructure for AI agents.

CodeCoin and Hong Kong Polytechnic University also jointly released the Southeast Asia Fintech Policy Green Paper.

License status, token plans and commercial tie-ups

CodeCoin said it already holds a stablecoin issuer license from Kazakhstan’s Astana International Financial Centre, or AIFC, and is advancing its self-developed stablecoin, CUSD. The company also said its licensing setup across major global regions is ready and that it has introduced quantum encryption as a long-term security supplement.

Users can top up inside the app with CUSD, which is compatible with USDC, and spend through tens of millions of Visa merchants worldwide.

On site, CodeCoin announced a Visa card technology partnership with Sand Group. It also signed memorandums of understanding with Tiger Brokers and Longsheng Group.

Card launch incentives

The company rolled out a three-part card opening promotion, offering a benefits package worth up to $1,000, 8% spending cashback and prize-draw rewards.

CodeCoin said the launch was a practical response to the annual meetings’ discussion of a multi-rail monetary system and that it brings licensed stablecoins into everyday payment scenarios. The application link provided at the event was https://codecoinx.cc/.
