Coinglass data shows the Coinbase Bitcoin Premium Index has remained in negative territory for two straight months, running from May 19 to July 19 for a total of 62 days. The latest reading stood at -0.0633%. Earlier this year, the index stayed below zero for 40 consecutive days between Jan. 16 and Feb. 24, setting what was then the longest negative streak since the indicator was introduced. The current run has now moved past that stretch and is also longer than the roughly 30 days of consecutive negative premium recorded during the “1011 crash” period.
