Coinbase has placed two tokens on its official listing roadmap: Arcium (ARX) on Solana and Re (RE) on Ethereum. Trading hasn't started yet, but the move is turning heads across crypto. The exchange announced the addition via its official X account on June 10, 2026.
Arcium: A Privacy Computing Network on Solana
Arcium is a decentralized computing network built for privacy. It combines MPC (multi-party computation), FHE (fully homomorphic encryption), and ZK proofs to process sensitive data inside a sealed vault. The ARX token powers four key functions: network fees (usage-based), staking (holders delegate to MPC nodes), scheduling (tasks assigned by stake weight), and governance (voting power grows with lockup duration). Nodes that underperform lose delegations over time. Longer lockups mean more influence.
Re: An On-Chain Reinsurance Marketplace
Re (RE) is the governance token for the Resilience Foundation's on-chain reinsurance marketplace. Reinsurance—insurance for insurance companies—is a $700 billion industry long dominated by a few large players. Re aims to change that. The project has already written over $400 million in premiums in 2026, partners with 30+ insurance companies, and counts roughly 4,000 on-chain capital providers. The fixed supply is 1 billion tokens: 50% ecosystem, 20% core contributors, 17% investors and advisors, 13% ecosystem reserve. Note: These tokens only confer governance rights—no equity, debt, or profit-sharing. Governance features roll out in phases.
Why Coinbase Added These Tokens
Both tokens sit in sectors Coinbase is watching closely. Arcium operates in privacy computing—a space gaining traction as AI and finance demand confidential data tools. Re sits in real-world assets (RWA), one of 2026's fastest-growing crypto categories. Coinbase doesn't add tokens randomly. Each one goes through review of technical fit, regulatory standing, and market demand.
The roadmap listing already matters. Communities rally. Search volume jumps. Early attention often precedes price moves. You can't trade these tokens on Coinbase yet, but you can research both projects now. Watch for the official trading announcement—that's when things typically move fast.
