Techub News, citing CryptoBriefing, reported that cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has deepened its partnership with the VALORANT Champions Tour, known as VCT. Under the arrangement, Coinbase serves as an official sponsor of the competition and as its exclusive blockchain partner. The company’s branding has been integrated into event broadcasts, venue activities and digital content connected to the tournament.

The partnership began in May 2025 and covers Riot Games’ flagship VALORANT esports events. The current VALORANT Masters London event runs from June 6 to June 21, with a total prize pool of $1 million. Coinbase’s role in the event is centered on sponsorship exposure and its designated blockchain partner status across official tournament presentation channels.

The report also noted that the event has not integrated on-chain fan engagement mechanisms such as fan tokens or NFTs. As a result, the cooperation described in the report remains focused on brand placement, event sponsorship and blockchain partner positioning, rather than tokenized or NFT-based audience interaction.
