Coinfest Asia 2025 was held at Nuanu Creative City in Bali, Indonesia, with organizers calling it the world’s largest crypto festival. According to the event figures, the gathering attracted more than 10,000 attendees from over 90 countries. Across two days, the program featured 300+ speakers, 100+ sessions, and 100+ side events, positioning the event as more than a standard industry conference.
A festival format built around Web3 culture
Rather than focusing only on panels and keynote speeches, the event emphasized immersive experiences. Visitors took part in live trading challenges powered by Pintu, chess competitions in collaboration with Anichess, and crowd-friendly mascot battles. Live Degen sessions, music performances, and informal beachside meetups extended participation beyond formal conference hours.
The festival also incorporated Bali’s local identity through Ogoh-ogoh parades, traditional performances, and cultural showcases. That mix of technology, entertainment, and regional culture reflected the organizers’ broader message that Web3 adoption becomes stronger when it connects with real communities and local context.
Industry leaders discuss adoption, capital, and markets
On stage, discussions focused on institutional capital, real-world assets, global markets, and Web3 adoption in Asia. Companies represented in the program included Binance, Ripple, Stellar, Fireblocks, Bybit, Polygon, Trust Wallet, Xendit, BRI Ventures, and X. Binance Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Conlan said the event stood out because it energized people around crypto instead of resembling a conventional conference format.
Polygon Chief Technology Officer Mudit Gupta highlighted the mix of industry leaders, regulators, and retail users in one venue, arguing that the atmosphere offered a clearer picture of how real-world adoption develops. The event also received visible backing from Binance, Bybit, and Gate, reinforcing its role as a bridge between international crypto firms and Indonesia’s growing market.
Regulatory participation adds weight
A major signal from this year’s edition was the direct presence of Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK). The festival was attended by OJK Board of Commissioners Chairman Mahendra Siregar and Hasan Fawzi, the official responsible for technology innovation, digital financial assets, and crypto asset supervision. In an official statement, OJK said it supports Coinfest Asia and the Indonesia Blockchain Conference 2025 as platforms to strengthen and develop Indonesia’s blockchain industry.
That participation gave the event added credibility, suggesting closer alignment between policymakers and market participants as Indonesia continues to shape its digital asset framework.
Organizers turn to 2026
Organizers said Coinfest Asia 2025 showed how innovation can move toward adoption when industry, regulators, and communities gather in the same place. Felita Setiawan, Director of Indonesia Crypto Network, said the team wants to move beyond traditional event formats and create a festival that is both productive and enjoyable while fostering meaningful connections.
With planning already underway for Coinfest Asia 2026, organizers say the next edition is expected to be larger and more impactful. This year’s supporters included Tokocrypto, Binance, Bybit, Bitget, CoinEx, Fireblocks, Gate, Sui, Polkadot, IOTA, Manta, OKX, PINTU, and Stellar, underlining the event’s growing importance in the regional crypto conference landscape.
