Coinfest Asia, the world's largest crypto festival, has announced its 2026 edition will be held August 20-21, 2026 at Melasti Beach, Bali, Indonesia. Organized by the Indonesia Crypto Network (ICN), the fifth annual event will activate five beach clubs along the Melasti coastline as a single integrated venue, marking the first time a crypto festival adopts a beach club concept at this scale.
Asia Dominates Global Crypto Adoption
Asia now accounts for nearly 60% of all crypto users worldwide, with nine of the top 20 countries in the Chainalysis 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index located in the region. Capital, developers, exchanges, and institutions are flowing in, yet access between global crypto companies and local Asian markets remains fragmented. Coinfest Asia aims to bridge that gap.
Three Tracks: Builders, Traders, Institutions
Rather than a traditional conference structure, the 2026 edition is designed for interaction, movement, and proximity. The beach club format allows attendees to move freely between conversations, programming, networking spaces, product activations, and community gatherings across the coastline. Built around the concept of “Real Crypto Culture,” the event introduces three dedicated tracks based on participant intent: the Builders Track (product testing, technical workshops, hackathons, direct access to founders), the Traders Track (market outlooks, live trading demos, competitions, strategy discussions), and the Institutions Track (curated meetings, real-world case studies, connections with teams driving large-scale adoption). The tracks encourage overlap — developers can join trading sessions, institutions can explore emerging products hands-on, and global companies connect directly with local ecosystems.
First Speaker Wave Announced
Alongside the venue announcement, Coinfest Asia revealed its initial speaker lineup for 2026, drawing leaders from exchanges, wallets, infrastructure, data, AI, and institutional finance. Confirmed speakers include Alexander Svanevik (CEO, Nansen), Felix Fan (CEO, Trust Wallet), Nick See Tong (APAC & Singapore Lead, Base), Zac Cheah (Co-Founder, Pundi AI), Basel Ismail (CEO, Blockcircle), Raagulan Pathy (Founder & CEO, KAST), Chris Yin (CEO, Plume), Jack Yark (Head of Trading, Acheron Trading), Mohammad Raafi Hossain (Co-Founder & CEO, Fasset), and Iñaki Moreno (Strategic Partnerships Lead, Web3 & AI, Google).
Past Editions and Partners
Since launching in 2022, Coinfest Asia has attracted over 15,000 attendees, more than 400 speakers, and representatives from over 6,000 companies across 90 countries. Previous speakers include Ben Zhou (Bybit), Rachel Conlan (former Binance CMO), Mudit Gupta (Polygon), Yat Siu (Animoca Brands), Dominic Williams (Internet Computer), and Kevin Kwong (9GAG). Ecosystem partners have included Solana, Polkadot, Algorand, Polygon, Aptos, Stellar, Sui, Ripple, Circle, along with institutions like GoTo, Google Cloud, Visa, AWS, UOB, and Standard Chartered.
“Where you bring people together matters as much as who you bring. Melasti Beach gives us room to make the festival more fluid and create spaces where different parts of the industry can naturally connect,” said Joditha Winatajaya. Tickets for Coinfest Asia 2026 are now available; companies seeking expansion into Asian crypto markets can explore partnership opportunities through official channels.
