Coinfest Asia — branded as the world's largest crypto festival — is set to return to Bali on August 20-21, 2026. Organized by ICN, Indonesia's only dedicated Web3 marketing agency, the event positions itself as a living ecosystem rather than a traditional conference.
2025 Edition Smashed Records
Last year's edition drew 11,184 attendees from 90 countries, over 150 speakers, and 77 sponsors. Binance CMO Rachel Conlan said on-site: "What I love about this event is it's a festival of crypto — entertainment, energizing. It's not another boring conference." Over two days, Bali became the heartbeat of Web3, with builders, investors, brands, and users colliding.
Immersive Experience Over Boardroom Talks
Coinfest Asia merges all side events, brand activations, and after-hours experiences in one venue. Highlights included live trading tournaments, IRL airdrops, gaming zones, and beachside networking. The 2025 edition featured 54 brand activations; 4 out of 5 sponsors hosted real-time demos or product launches, and 80% of participating brands tested new UX flows or onboarded users live.
A Live Trading Competition saw 275 participants generate over 32,000 USDT in real trading volume, proving engagement can drive market participation. A first-ever "Web3 Community Bus Trip" gathered 300 people from 60 Indonesian cities, making crypto education accessible nationwide.
Institutions and RWA Tokenization Take Center Stage
The event goes beyond community. Its "Tokenize Indonesia" accelerator paired state-owned enterprises (BRI, Pegadaian, PosDigi) with blockchain firms like Ripple and Fireblocks to explore real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. Government bodies — including Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK), Ministry of Investment, and the National Cyber and Crypto Agency — participated in policy discussions.
With 18 million active crypto users and a pro-Web3 regulatory framework, Indonesia is Asia's most under-tapped crypto opportunity, according to the organizers. Coinfest Asia sits at the center of that growth.
What to Expect in 2026
ICN Director Felita Setiawan stated: "We don't believe in traditional event formats — events should be both productive and fun. The next edition will expand institutional showcases, empower grassroots communities, and amplify brand-led innovations." The 2026 waitlist is now open, with sponsorship opportunities available.
