BingX said it partnered with CoinGecko to release the 2026 State of Crypto Perpetuals Report, a study covering the development of perpetuals trading across centralized and decentralized exchanges. The report said BingX recorded more than 66% year-over-year growth in its perpetuals business, while its derivatives market share increased 58% going into 2026.

RWA and AI markets stood out in the report

CoinGecko said trading tied to tokenized real-world assets, or RWAs, accelerated sharply in 2026. First-quarter volume alone had already moved past the full-year total from 2025. The report also pointed to rising demand for stock perpetuals and other products linked to traditional finance, as traders looked for round-the-clock access to a broader set of markets through crypto-native infrastructure.

Against that backdrop, BingX said its multi-asset trading strategy matched the trends highlighted in the study. The report also noted that the exchange expanded its RWA perpetuals lineup with tokenized equity products tied to global companies, including major stocks.

565 new perpetual listings since 2025

According to the report, BingX added 565 new perpetual listings since 2025, equal to an average of 35 new contracts per month. That placed the exchange second globally by new perpetual listings. CoinGecko also described BingX as one of the exchanges with the strongest derivatives market share growth trajectory entering 2026, driven by large RWA asset growth.

AI-linked perpetual markets formed the largest category among BingX’s newly listed contracts. The report said the exchange launched 111 new AI-related markets, putting it at the front of that segment for new listings.

Expansion into pre-IPO and event-based contracts

BingX said its “Infinite Vision” strategy centers on early access to fast-moving narratives and new market opportunities. As part of that push, it launched perpetual trading tied to SpaceX pre-IPO and OpenAI pre-IPO exposure.

The company also added EventX to its futures lineup alongside standard futures, perpetual futures, copy trading, and TradFi Markets. BingX described EventX as a contracts product that lets users trade on the outcomes of major global events and digital assets. The company said these additions fit its plan to build a unified multi-market trading environment connecting crypto and traditional finance products.

Company profile included in the release

Founded in 2018, BingX said it serves more than 40 million users worldwide and ranks among the top five global crypto derivatives exchanges. The company also said it has been the principal partner of Chelsea FC since 2024, and in 2026 became the first official crypto exchange partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP.
