ChainCatcher reported, citing Coinglass data, that total liquidations across the crypto market reached $138 million over the past 24 hours. Of that amount, long positions accounted for $52.4417 million in liquidations, while short positions accounted for $85.2291 million. The data shows that short liquidations were higher than long liquidations during the period.
Bitcoin and Ethereum liquidation breakdown
Among major crypto assets, Bitcoin long liquidations stood at $9.5405 million, while Bitcoin short liquidations reached $27.0118 million. For Ethereum, long liquidations totaled $10.2174 million, and short liquidations totaled $17.7414 million. In both Bitcoin and Ethereum, short-side liquidations exceeded long-side liquidations.
Coinglass data also showed that 67,171 traders worldwide were liquidated over the past 24 hours. The largest single liquidation order occurred on Bybit in the BTCUSDT pair, with a value of $1.4403 million.
